The American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS) is a national nonprofit scientific organization open to individuals interested in the life sciences. The Beta Sigma student chapter, open to all majors at USP, can be a fulfilling and rewarding part of your time as a student in the Department of Biological Sciences.
The chapter’s professional activities allow you to experience the diversity and complexity of the life sciences.

Our Past/ Present Activites Include:
  • Camden Adventure Aqurium
  • Monthly Science- related movies
  • Study Groups
  • The Philadelphia Zoo
  • Volunteering with UC Green
  • The Academy of Natural Sciences
